Walkthrough and Guide
Gallery Fix Patch: FILEKNOT - ANONZIP
Preemptively Answered Questions:
q: what is this?
a: this fixes an issue in the 1.2 version of the english fan translation where an empty, permanently locked entry in the gallery was accidentally created
q: is this update important?
a: not especially, unless you're particularly anal about everything being neat and orderly
q: how do i install the update?
a0: make a backup of Data\Scripts.rvdata2 in case something unforeseen happens
a1: place the included Data folder in the root directory of the game (the folder with Game.exe and Game.rvproj2) and allow it to merge with Data and override Scripts.rvdata2
q: is anything else changed in the update?
a: not intentionally, no
q: something's fucked, and i don't mean the isekai slut!
a: this was basically untested in the live environment and was only demoed in my developer environment, so it's entirely possible that i may have accidentally included testing scrips or omitted basegame scripts in an effort to expedite the testing process. if something doesn't work properly, restore the backed up Scripts.rvdata2 and pretend this download doesn't exist
q: i am a wierdo and play the japanese version, should i install this patch?
a: absolutely not; this fixes a bug introduced in the fan translation and includes scripts not present in the original japanese version, so loading this there will more than likely cause the game to not boot due to missing assets
a2: not included in the readme in the download, but you also shouldn't use this with the original or spanish mtls for the same reason as above (although you should really be playing my localization instead)
