It sounds like something out of a children's TV show, but that's exactly what my organization, the Counter Threat Unit, or CTU, is.
More than 10 years ago, monsters and monstrosities suddenly appeared and began to attack people. Thanks to the efforts of the hastily organized CTU and various military and police forces, the monsters and their organization were successfully exterminated. Peace returned to the city. Since then, the CTU has not been dismantled and remains on daily alert. However, due to the recent situation where almost nothing has happened, the budget has been cut and activities have been reduced. It might be pointed out that we take peace for granted.
