In the quiet, deeply religious town of Graceford, tradition isn't just a way of life-it's a cage. When a soft spoken senior finds his normal life turned upside down by new political forces seeking to change the town, old beliefs start to crack. As the town faces a cultural shift-with new lessons on race and sexuality entering into the discourse, the MC, his sweet and caring girlfriend, and his loving mother each wrestle with forbidden desires and prejudices.
